Business Delivery Officer (Full Time (4 on 4 off) Permanent)
Based within Care at Home services, Mile End Centre, Seedhill Road, Paisley.
Reporting to the Senior Business Delivery Officer, you will be responsible for leading and managing the daily operations of the Business Delivery team. You will be responsible for intake, maximisation, and optimisation of both internally and externally commissioned Care at Home services.
You will have experience in care at home and managing people and teams effectively. It is essential that you have proven experience working within demanding and complex services, managing resources, and using electronic systems. Use of electronic scheduling or rostering systems is desirable. You will be customer focused as part of a fast moving, challenging, continually changing environment, which ensures that all care at home provision meets the individual needs of service users.
You will be responsible for continuous monitoring and development of these services and to do this you will apply effective budget management and workforce planning skills, whilst ensuring that appropriate policies and procedures are in place and adhered to. You will support robust governance of internal and externally provided services whilst identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in line with the HSCP’s Strategic and Financial Plans.
You must have proven experience of managing within demanding and complex services and managing physical resources using electronic systems. Experience ofmanaging and developing care services in partnership with other agencies is essential, as well as possessing an understanding of all aspects of adult and older people’s services, and the issues impacting these services.
You will have demonstrable experience of challenging existing ways of working and promoting and leading improved practice as part of wider service improvement. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to analyse complex information, problems, and solutions, whilst possessing proven skills in evaluating service demand/delivery, predicting resource constraints, and overcoming resourcing obstacles.
You willhave effective organisational and time management skills; strong analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop and sustain relationships with individuals at all levels in the organisation. Personal resilience and the ability to manage competing demand and complex priorities is essential.
You will have a relevant HNC or equivalent qualification in Administration, Business, Social Work, or relevant business equivalent.
