Job Purpose: To provide time-limited interventions at the earliest opportunity to children and families affected by autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and/or who may be going through the diagnostic process.
To deliver training and consultation, using recent research on ASD and related neuro-developmental difficulties, to families and professional teams.

At least 3 years’ experience of working with children and families affected by disability, including children with ASD and or neuro-developmental difficulties.
Evidence of membership of or registration with the relevant professional body, for example the Scottish Social Services Council on the ‘Social Worker’ part of the Register and as such hold a qualification that is recognised by the SSSC as being equivalent to the Diploma in Social Work (Dip SW).
Professional qualification in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Education, Community Education, Nursing or equivalent.
