To ensure the effective running of the Home in conjunction with the Care Home Manager in which the needs and choices of the residents are respected and met.
To implement the philosophy and quality standard of service within polices and guidelines.
To assist the Care Home Manager in the overall management of the Care Home.
To carry out the role of Assistant Unit Manager in accordance with standards set by the Division, the Care Inspectorate and the Scottish Social Services Council.
KNOWLEDGE:
Jobholders must be educated to HND/SVQ 4 in Social Care, and hold an additional supervisory/management qualification with previous experience of working in a care service including the supervision of staff is essential.
The jobholder will undertake training specified within the Units training & staff development plan in relation to administration of medication.

Based on you working 36 hours over 52 weeks per year the minimum actual salary for this position is £40,349.75 per annum.
