Based in Highbank Intermediate Care, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of the management team, to ensure the effective running of the facility in conjunction with the Manager in which the needs and choices of the clients are respected and met. The post holder should competently implement the philosophy and quality standards of service, within the policies and guidelines established by the Council. The post holder should work towards a reablement model to ensure best possible outcomes for clients are met.
You must hold a minimum of an SVQ level 4 or an equivalent relevant qualification and be able to demonstrate highly developed communication/interpersonal skills. Registration with the SSSC as a Supervisor in Care home service for adults, with previous experience working in a care setting for older people or related setting is essential as is staff supervision/budgetary management experience and an up to date knowledge of relevant legislation affecting the provision of social services to older people.
