Adults – Autism & Learning Difficulties

Their person centre care approach enables the people they support and encourages independence while providing a support network. They encourage staff development and welcome new ideas/initiative ways to maintaining high care/support services. They have a strong committed workforce who work collaboratively together to ensure the individuals they support are at the heart of everything they do.
Your new role
You will be working as one of the key Area Managers supporting team leaders and front line support staff ensuring everyone has the tools and support available to provide day-to-day care and smooth running of each local service.
You will be required to carry out routine checks and implement changes/improvements where needed.
You will be part of the on-boarding of any new employees and work closely with the senior management team reviewing and planning service referrals.
Working collaboratively with external/internal stakeholders to ensure care plans are in place for individual needs of the service users.
Successful candidates will be required to respond to any emergency situations that may arise and create a support plan to tackle any issues.
What you’ll need to succeed
Candidate’s must hold a minimum SVQ Level 4 in Health & Social Care Leadership & Managing.
Ideally candidates will have an understand of autism/LD and a genuine interested in this area.
You must have experience in working managing social care professionals and be able to adapt to a changeable situations.
Be able to identify and review key areas such as staffing/service needs and set goals to achieving targets/improvements.
