You will work as part of the Allocations Team who are responsible for maintaining the West Lothian Common Housing Register and the allocation of West Lothian Council’s housing. Working as an Allocations Assistant you will be expected to undertake a number of tasks relating to the processing and dealing with Common Housing Register applications. You will be asked to deliver a high-quality customer focused service in line with housing legislation and you will be expected to meet operational performance targets. You will work

The skills and experience you must have are:

• Chartered Institute of Housing Level 2 or equivalent, or recent relevant experience working in a customer focussed environment
• Knowledge and experience of Allocations Policies
• Experience of working Excel, Word packages and Open Housing system
