Agency Support Worker Jobs – Adhoc and Bank Shifts – Flexible Hours

At Hay’s we work with a number of different clients and organisations that support a number of different services and service users. We work with residential settings for Adults and Children with learning disabilities and Autism, as well as vulnerable adults dealing with substance misuse, and homelessness. We supply support workers into settings that specialise in acute brain injuries and other physical disabilities, so no matter what your experience, we will be able to help you find the right work for you.
There are varying shift patterns available, from mornings and evenings to long days, as wells as waking night shifts and sleep ins. We will work to find shifts that suit your needs and work with your lifestyle, but flexibility to these varying hours ensure that you will find work quickly.
We are looking for people who are caring and compassionate by nature and who have a hard working mentality. You must be able to throw yourself into the deep end and get stuck in with work in all environments. Passion for caring for others essential, as well as a ‘can do/will do’ attitude.
To be registered with Hays we do require that candidates have a minimum of 6 months experience, taken within the last 2 years, working within a Social Care setting.
You must be comfortable working in some challenging environments and be able to ensure the safety and care of all service users you come into contact with.
You will have to undergo a DBS check, which can be provided by Hay’s if you don’t already have one on the DBS Update Service.
You must be able to provide valid Right to Work documents, and have access to fill in online application forms from a device such as smart phone, laptop or tablet. As well as this, due to current travel restrictions and social responsibilities all internal interview are taking place via video chat, so access to this is essential.
