Your new company
Surrey is looking to expand their community by welcoming enthusiastic qualified social workers to bring variety of new skills and fresh experiences. You will be working as a part of one of the local authorities located in Surrey. You will join the Transition Team as a Qualified Adult Social Worker. Different contract types and working patterns/hours are available to suit Your preferences.

Your new role
As a member of the Transition Team You will be supporting young adults aged between 14 and 25 and their families towards their successful transitioning to adulthood. You will be responsible to provide the relevant guidance, aiding them towards employment pathways, independent living and all other occupations.

• Excellent communication skills
• Critical thinking and professional reasoning
• An understanding of diversity and how it affects practice
• Ability to co-operate and work well with others
• Experience of providing professional reflective supervision

For senior social worker roles, substantial post qualification professional experience as a social worker is required.
