Hourly Rate: £16.67 – £18.18
Salary: £30,424.18 – £33,179.92 pro rata per annum

Where this is a requirement for the successful candidate to work from home as part of the role you will be provided with the necessary IT equipment by the Council, however, you will be responsible for the provision of any required furniture.
The Domestic Abuse Advocacy Support (DAAS) service provides short to medium term support to high risk adult victims of domestic abuse through risk assessment, safety planning and personal support.
Partnership working is key to ensure effective risk management as is the use of multi-agency structures eg MARAC to maximise risk reduction and increased safety for victims and their families.
The DAAS advocate will be required to undertake DASH-RIC assessments, prepare safety plans, prepare court reports and manage cases through risk reviews and structured contacts.
A good working knowledge of domestic abuse and it’s impact, use of DASH-RIC and skilled safety planning are essential to this role.
Professional qualification in a related field, such as social work, education, health, criminal justice, housing or probation studies and/ or equivalent level/range of experience.
