Southend Council are looking to appoint a full time agency Children Service’s, Administrative Assistant to participate in the provision of an efficient multi skilled administration service.

Within this position, hybrid working opportunities are available, however a flexible approach is needed as you will be required to be on site.

You will be required undertake general administration duties as required, including utilisation of computer systems/IT packages and appropriate record keeping/maintenance. Provide assistance to other members of the administration team or administrative support to any other manager or staff of the authority as directed.

What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in this position, you are required to have advanced administration skills, have experience within a busy working environment and have excellent customer service skills. Previous experience of working with Children Social Care would also be advantageous.
