NLC07 £24,108 – £26,764 (Pro Rata)
Based within one of our Addiction Recovery Teams in North Lanarkshire, you will be part of a team providing treatment and support to individuals and their families affected by significant addiction issues. You will work alongside other social work and nursing colleagues to promote the ethos of recovery.
You will be required to provide a high quality of support to service users and you should have moderate experience working within an addictions or other related care service. Knowledge of strategic and service objectives relating to addiction services and child/adult/public protection issues is essential as is the ability to assist service users resolve practical problems in areas such as housing, benefits and education.
Possession of SVQ Level 3 or equivalent is essential together with a willingness to undertake additional training in addiction services to enable you to undertake the full responsibilities of this post.
You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to commencing in this role.
Post 1 – Airdrie 35 hours (Permanent)
Post 2 – Bellshill 17.5 hours (Temporary)
Post 3 – Bellshill 35 hours (Permanent)
Post 4 – Coatbridge 35 hours (Permanent)
Post 5 – Wishaw 35 hours (Permanent)
Post 2 is temporary for three months and may be subject to review.
