We are looking to recruit an Activity Manager for Day Care and Care Homes, working across HSCP Care Homes and Extra Care for a 2-year fixed term basis. The post has responsibility for the management of the service and full responsibility for managing staff and has budgetary responsibility at unit level.

It is essential that you hold an SVQ level 4 in Social Care (with Management modules) and have the ability to work towards an SVQ level Managers award and be registered with the SSSC. You will have supervisory and management experience in a similar setting and be experienced in dealing with the client group. Experience of undertaking sole responsibility for a unit along with managing budgets is desirable. You will have excellent communication and IT skills with knowledge of SWIFT and knowledge of internal/external inspection processes is advantageous.

You will have effective organisational skills; be honest and trustworthy; be flexible and reliable and a good team player. It is essential that you have experience of managing staff and have effective leadership qualities.

This role is a 5 over 7 working pattern.
