An appeal for two men wanted over the murder of a man who died after being carried into hospital is to be shown on the BBC’s Crimewatch programme.

Tran Nguyen, from Vietnam, died of his injuries after being carried unconscious into the Royal Gwent Hospital in Newport in November 2006.

Six men and one woman have been charged in connection with the murder of the 44-year-old.

Gwent Police are seeking two Vietnamese men, Bac Phuong Nguyen and Tu Minh Le.

Bac Phuong Nguyen, who is believed to be in the Birmingham area, is 5ft 3in (1.6m) tall with black thinning hair and is clean-shaven.

He may also be known as Tung Truc, Trung Troc, Toan, Zidan, Didan or Hai.

Tu Minh Le is approximately 5ft 8in (1.72m) tall with short dark spiked hair and is also clean-shaven.

He has a tattoo on his left lower forearm, written in blue ink and reads: 22 – 7 with 1973 underneath.

Last month, officers said they had several dates of birth for the pair, but they are believed to be in their late twenties or early thirties.
