Social Workers Seeking Adoption For Five Siblings

Social workers are looking for a family to adopt five young brothers and sisters because they are desperate to keep them together. The children, all aged under seven, were put up for adoption by Coventry City Council amid concerns they were being neglected and left to fend for themselves, said senior councillor John Blundell.

“We would do everything possible to keep the family together as a unit,” he said.

The children – 14-month-old twin boys, two girls aged two and three, and their six-year-old brother – are being looked after by foster parents.

It is understood that two couples have already expressed an interest in adopting the youngsters and their applications are being considered.
