Homeless Charity Expresses Fear

An Aberdeen charity for the homeless fears it will have to close four of its centres if it loses council funding.

Aberdeen Cyrenians is appealing to councillors not to cut its funding by £900,000 when the budget is set later in the week.

If the money is withdrawn, Cyrenians claims the future looks bleak for several projects.

A council spokesperson said they have to decide on a range of budget issues and declined to comment further.
