Scottish Charity To Pile Pressure On Executive

Social care charity Quarriers is to call on the next Scottish Executive to do more to back community-based work with children and to encourage integrated working.

The demand is a part of a manifesto for the next four years of government in Scotland that the charity intends to publish after the Scottish Parliament elections on 3 May.

The document also calls on ministers to let vulnerable children have a bigger say in matters that affect them, to end the physical punishment of children and to ensure equal access to leisure services for all children.
