Domestic Violence Incidents Drop

There has been a big drop in the number of domestic violence incidents reported to police in the north west of Northern Ireland in recent months. The area used to have the highest record of domestic abuse in Northern Ireland.

However recently, Foyle Women’s Aid has been working alongside trained police officers to combat this type of crime.

Inspector Milton Kerr said that victims must come forward to police and ask for help.
