NISCC launch Learning Zone offering range of online tools to support career progression

The Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC) has launched the Learning Zone to provide its registrants with a range of free online learning tools and information guides to support their career progression.

The Learning Zone resource has been developed to support the on-going learning and development of Social Workers, Social Care Workers and Early Years Professionals throughout their professional career and includes the following:

• NISCC Learning Resources – this includes new digital resources that can be accessed on multiple devices including mobile with internet access.
• Professional in Practice (PiP) – to support Social Workers undertake work within the PiP Framework.
• Open Badges – a new development aimed at recognising social care training and development.
