NIASW conference to launch new report on violence against social workers

The Northern Ireland Association of Social Workers (NIASW) are inviting social workers to their Annual Meeting 2018 where they will launch and discuss their report on violence against the workforce.

Taking place on Wednesday, 6 June 2018 at the Crowne Plaza in Belfast, the report ‘Intimidation, Threats and Violence Against Social Workers: Exploring the Impacts’ will provide an opportunity to discuss the implications of the report. The report has been produced from the findings of the recent survey ‘Violence Against Social Workers’.

Following on from the presentation and discussion around the report, Professor Peter McBride from Inspire will be speaking on mental wellbeing in the workplace.
