Library and day care services planned for Seaford

A planning application has been submitted for a new £6m development in the East Sussex resort of Seaford.

A new library, day care centre and supported living flats for adults with learning difficulties form the proposal for Warwick House, in Sutton Park Road.

East Sussex County Council’s planning authority will consider the application this month, along with another for a temporary library in Blatchington Road.

It follows a wide-ranging consultation and drop-in sessions for local people.

Subject to planning, the council is hoping to open the new library and adult social care development by the end of 2013.
