NCA and Skills for Care join forces to focus on dementia at conference

The National Care Association and Skills for Care have announced that they are to jointly host a Conference on 20 October 2010 on the Care of Dementia during National Care Association’s Annual Conference at the Millennium Hotel in London.

The conference will focus on; Latest developments in the care of people with dementia, Workforce issues and in particular Recruitment and Retention.

National Care Association Chief Executive, Sheila Scott said today: “National Care Association is delighted to be working in collaboration with Skills for Care on a conference focused on one of the most challenging areas of social care.

Members of National Care Association are only too aware that to develop the highest quality of care for people with dementia, the training of staff is the key.”
