London councils seek £20m electronic social care record
Westminster City Council is looking to buy a social care software system, worth up to £20 million. The council will sign a framework deal with up to three suppliers, covering a four year period.
The framework will be open to all other borough councils in London, as well as the capital’s primary care trusts, but takeup is not compulsory.
The framework will be split into three lots, a system for adults, one for children, and one for both. All lots cover an electronic social care record.
The deal will also include case management software, a demographics system, finance and remote working.
Supplirs who are interested have until 12 August to request participation. Invitations to tender will be sent to suppliers in early September.
