Skills for Care announce the 35 finalists for their 2018 Accolades awards
The finalists for Skills for Care’s Accolades 2018 competing to win a national award celebrating the 1.45 million people who work in adult social care in England, have been announced.
All the finalists submitted detailed entries showing why they should win one of the 10 categories, which were then scrutinised by an expert panel of judges before shortlists were selected that reflect the rich diversity of services on offer across the country.
Skills for Care CEO Sharon Allen said: “Yet again we had high quality entries from many different sorts of organisations who are all working hard every day to develop the skills and knowledge of workers so they can deliver high quality services in our communities.
“It proved to a really tough task for the judging panels as all our finalists are not only demonstrating excellence in how they develop the workforce, but also innovative ways of thinking about how they do it that can only benefit the people they serve in our communities.”
The finalists in each category are:

The winners will announced at the Accolades awards ceremony on Thursday 1 March 2018 in London.
