New guidance for social service workers about reporting poor practice

The SSSC has published new guidance on reporting poor practice in Scotland.  The SSSC Codes of Practice sets out the standards of professional conduct and practice for workers as you go about your daily work.

It is crucial that people who use services, carers and the public have confidence in the services they need and use and can rely on the people employed to look after their interests.

To find out what you should I do if you’re concerned that a social service is not meeting the standards in the Code and if an employer or service provider is carrying out a breach of the Code and/or the Scottish Government’s National Care Standards on the guidance and information for social service workers section of the SSSC website.
