Head Housekeeper
Full-time 40hrs per week, including alternate weekends, shifts can be flexible for the right candidate.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Housekeeper to join the hardworking team at this residential care home in Swaffham. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a housekeeping team, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained.
Requirements:
* Flexibility to cover shifts due to sickness, annual leave, etc.
* Strong leadership and management skills.
* Knowledge of health and safety and COSHH regulations.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the housekeeping team, providing strong leadership and ensuring the highest service standards are achieved and maintained.
* Ensure all tasks are undertaken with full consideration for the comfort, security, and sensitivity of the residents.
* Maintain knowledge of health and safety and COSHH legal requirements, ensuring staff are aware and compliant.
* Manage rotas and ensure correct team member levels are on shift at any time.
* Order all cleaning and consumable supplies for the home ensuring all purchases made are within budget.
* Provide hands-on support with housekeeping and laundry activities when required.
* Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all colleagues, residents and, visitors to the home.
